Someday, I will have the time, and Arkansas Perspective will be up and running once again….

  • From The Editor….

    Most people dream of being great in some way. I, however, dream of being around people who are great and in turn make me look good. Which brings us to the purpose of this website. I happen to have many wonderful and talented friends. And I know even more wonderful and talented people who I say are my friends but, if they were to here me say that, might have a puzzled look on their face. It is my goal to get as many of these wonderful people to share their wonderful thoughts with you, world (Hi Mom!!). Oh, but we need a theme, right? Just what are these people to write about. Writers need direction. Writers need focus. Well, I’ll have none of that around here. We will write about whatever the hell it is we write about. The only unifying theme around here is that we all share a connection to the Natural State. Personally, I have never been born in another state besides Arkansas, but nonetheless, I know that this state is unique in many wonderful and scary ways. Some of the writers on here, like myself, were born, raised, and still reside in Arkansas. Others were born, fled, and never looked back. Still others have been adopted at some point, either willingly or unwillingly, by our great state. Nonetheless, we all write to you from the Natural State of mind (how could I not say that?), bringing the Arkansas Perspective to any and every issue worth talking about. Enjoy. ~~S.
